    “Wujing”

He is sent a message from Shanghai that has information on his next target, and hires Red to decrypt it. He has established his base of operations in an underground bunker beneath a local radio station. After the message is decrypted, he gives Raymond Reddington a red envelope. It is revealed to contain a paper sheet with the numbers 042983. A short time later the alarms are triggered by a contact with an outside system. The contact is revealed to have come from Jin Sun's computer, so Wujing beats him. As Jin lays bleeding on the floor, he sees the thumb drive Elizabeth Keen had in his laptop. Red shoots him to keep him from alerting Wujing. Angered by this shooting, Wujing initially wants to shoot Liz in retaliation, but Red talks him out of it by claiming that Liz is needed to maintain his credibility with other clients. They then leave through a second entrance to the bunker. He drops Red and Liz off, where Liz quietly places her tracker on Wujing’s SUV. A few blocks down the road, he is cornered and then arrested by a FBI SWAT team.

He first employs Jennifer Moores for an assignment at a Chinese consulate annex in New York City. Reddington tries to stop Wujing by killing Moores with an explosive placed inside the consulate. Without her help, Wujing moves forward with her plan to extract Alban Veseli from a joint CIA-MI6 black site on Montserrat, taking Veseli and leaving a trail of dead agents in his wake.

    “The Whaler”

Reddington learns that Wujing is laundering money through private high-stakes poker tournaments around the world. He uses the Task Force to gain access to one such tournament in Sydney, Australia. Ressler and Siya Malik enter the tournament with false identities and backstories, but are soon caught by Wujing’s associate Anika de Beer, who is hosting the event. Wujing joins the game just as Ressler and Malik are dragged away for questioning. Reddington arrives and makes a deal with Anika for millions in diamonds in exchange for a seat at Wujing’s poker table. Reddington and Wujing face off over their lethal rivalry while also playing all-in on the table. Reddington wins the round in the same way he reveals Wujing has been winning all his games. Wujing’s right hand man Zhang Wei informs him that the authorities are closing in on the venue. Wujing retreats with his people while Anika slips out to her limo parked outside. Furious that Anika has betrayed him to Reddington, Wujing gets into her limo and takes both her diamonds and her life as repayment.
