    WSNS switched over to the standardized Telemundo affiliation logo scheme after becoming an O&O station. Previously, the "T44" logo was only used during newscasts.

    During this logo's run, WSNS alonside the rest of the Telemundo network were bought out by NBC in 2002. This made WSNS a sister station to NBC O&O, WMAQ-TV.

     NBC rebranded the station to Telemundo Chicagoin 2004 due to the channel being carried on various channel positions through cable providers in the Chicago area.
