Perspectives Charter Schools is a charter school network in Chicago, Illinois. The organization was founded by Kim Day and Diana Shulla-Cose, two teachers at Chicago's Dyett Middle School.
In 1997, Perspectives became one of the first charter schools in Illinois. Today, Perspectives manages five open enrollment, tuition-free public schools serving students in grades 6-12 in the communities of Auburn Gresham, Bronzeville, Chatham and South Loop.
Perspectives students are prepared for life in a changing world with the tools to succeed. This holistic model fosters ethical leadership and cultivates agency. For over twenty years, our network has served public school students in grades 6 -12 on our city’s Southside.

Calumet High School–Perspectives is a public four-year charter high school and middle school located in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opening as Calumet Township High School in 1889, it became a Chicago Public School in 1900 and closed in 2006.
