In 2022, the WTA 1000 Tournaments included the following eight tournaments: Doha/Dubai, Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid, Rome, Montreal/Toronto, Cincinnati and Guadalajara. Indian Wells, Miami, Madrid and Beijing award 1,000 ranking points to the champions, while the other tournaments within the WTA 1000 level award 900 ranking points to the winner.
