Went in search of the Helsby Quarry Tramway and had a great few hours wandering the paths. The tramway is fairly easily found and on the route is a brilliant tunnel (railmaponline.com) Climb to the top of the hill and the views are unbelievable. Liverpool, River Mersey, the Welsh hills, Chester, The Cheshire gap - wow what view.
