Arnie Herber lived the boyhood dream of starring for his hometown team. After playing at Green Bay West High School and Regis College, Herber became the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. Herber joined the Packers as a 20-year-old rookie in 1930 and threw a touchdown pass in his first game.
