Cosby Campground is the third largest in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with 157 campsites. However, due to the remote location, it is not busy most of the time. The exceptions are Memorial Day weekend, Independence Day, and Labor Day. During these holidays it gets crowded.

The campground is normally open from the end of March to the end of October. 24 sites can accommodate RVs between 20 and 44 feet. All sites are currently reservable. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring with grill.
