Keller made it to the semifinals as the game was a runaway, but in Final Jeopardy!, he and Monica were correct. In the third semifinal match, Keller faced 7-time champion Keith Whitener and 5-time champion Paul Nelson. Keller answered 19 responses correctly (including 1 DD) and two responses wrong. Going into Final Jeopardy!, he was in second place as Whitener turned the game into a runaway. Keller answered Final Jeopardy! correctly, but he took home the $10,000 for placing second in the semifinals.
