Madge Evans (born Margherita Harrison Evans; July 1, 1909 – April 26, 1981) was an American stage, film, radio, and television actress. [2] She began her career as a child performer and model.

Madge Evans débute enfant au cinéma, en 1914 (à cinq ans), participant à quarante films muets américains, le dernier en 1924 (à quinze ans). She resumed her stage career in 1926 as an ingenue with 'Daisy Mayme' and the following year appeared with Billie Burke in Noel Coward's costume drama 'The Marquise' (1927). Her pleasing looks and personality soon attracted the attention of Hollywood and she was eventually signed by MGM in 1931.
