Phyllis is an American sitcom television series that aired on CBS from September 8, 1975, to March 13, 1977. Created mainly by Ed. Weinberger and Stan Daniels, it was the second spinoff of The Mary Tyler Moore Show (the first being Rhoda). Mary Tyler Moore Show producer James L. Brooks was also involved with the show as a creative consultant.
Phyllis: Created by Stan Daniels, Ed. Weinberger. With Cloris Leachman, Henry Jones, Jane Rose, Carmine Caridi. Mary Richards' landlady, Phyllis Lindstrom, moves back to her hometown of San Francisco with her teenage daughter Bess following the sudden death of her husband, Lars.
Phyllis believes she and Bess are growing apart so she decides to join her daughter in her activities. But visits to a new age therapy group and a disco make Phyllis even more conscious of the generation gap.
