Henry I (August 1267 – 7 September 1322), Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, called the Admirable (German: Heinrich der Wunderliche, Latin: Henricus Mirabilis), a member of the House of Welf, was the first ruler of the Principality of Grubenhagen from 1291 until his death.
After his death, on 9 March 1361, he was succeeded by his son Albert I. Marriage and issue [ edit ] Ernst married in 1322 Adelheid (or Agnes) of Everstein-Polle (died after 1373), daughter of Count Henry II of Eberstein.

The Principality of Grubenhagen was finally reunited in 1526 under the rule of the Brunswick duke Philip I. However, in 1596 the Grubenhagen branch became extinct upon the death of his son Philip II.
Ernst married in June 1335 Adelheid of Everstein-Polle (died after 29 September 1373), daughter of Count Henry II of Eberstein. The marriage produced nine children. Otto (born 1337, died young)
