Feb 22, 2024 · Bartholomew Dupuy was a Virginia colonist. The Dupuy Family papers which were donated to the Virginia Historical Society include a genealogical guide, compiled in 1963. It states that Bartholomew DuPuy and his wife, Suzanne, fled from France in December 1685 as Huguenot refugees, finally emigrating to Virginia in 1700 from England.

Jan 23, 2008 · The next section of the book is a review of the historic Bartholomew Dupuy in France, and it gives a dozen generation or more pedigree for him going back to a Crusader named DuPuy who was the military governor of Jerusalem. I consider all this horsefeathers, though my relative I inherited the book from believed in it with all his heart and soul.
