Blues Alley is an institution in Washington DC, and we were lucky to get tickets for the Marcus Johnson show. What an experience! The music was terrific, the ambience intimate and the minimum drinks charge of $12 per person was very easy to cover. I've read complaints here of it being a bit of the hole in the wall place, and too crowded.
