XBOX voice chat not working potential fix. Hi! Tried to play cross play today but no matter restarting the game or unplugging headset, it would not show me as having a mic connected. Turns out that due to me disabling voice chat on Destiny 2 on PC, it got disabled on xbox too.
Sep 3, 2021 · In-game chat not working Just hopped on to test the recently enabled in-game chat for crossplay with a couple of clanmates and we weren't able to get it to work. 2 of us were on PS, 1 on PC. I could hear each of the others (1 PC, 1 PS), but they could not hear me.
Fireteams in destiny2 can hear my voice crystal clear and I see their voice chat icons but they are gray and are not speaking or lit up in white, I cannot hear anyone, Xbox, Sony or steam players… only way is for a friend to discord voice call me.

Aug 2, 2022 · Fixing Destiny 2 text chat is quite simple. You just need to close and reopen the game or reset your console if you are playing on one. If this does not fix your text chat issues then you should check the Bungie website or Twitter to see if something outside of your control is messing up the text chat.
