Raspberry Pi OS comes with over 35,000 packages, or pre-compiled software bundled in a nice format for easy installation on a Raspberry Pi.
The distribution is built for the Raspberry Pi exclusively. Insert a USB key with image/video files or a text file with image/video URIs and boot the OS: the system will display a slideshow of the media in a full-screen view using the Omxplayer.
