Donald R. Goldman. Architect |. Don Goldman was born in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to San Diego in 1935. Following his tour of duty in the U.S. Army he studied architecture at Cal Poly, SLO under George Hasslein (between 1955-59). Upon returning to San Diego, Don worked for Paderewski, Mitchell & Dean and later for Deems Lewis.
