Apr 24, 2022 · On the "Google Account" screen, from the tab list at the top, choose the "Security" tab. In the "Signing in to Google" section, select "Password." Type your current password and tap "Next." On the new password page, tap the "New Password" field and type your newly generated password.
Open the Settings app. Tap Passwords. Enter your iPhone's passcode, or verify your identity with FaceID or Touch ID. Tap Google or Gmail on your lists of sites. If you do not see Google or Gmail here, skip to step six.
- Using Gmail Website: Open the Gmail website in your browser. This is not possible from the mobile Gmail website, so if you're using a mobile device, use the My Account website instead.
- Using Android Device: Open the Settings menu on your Android. You'll find the Settings app in your Apps list. If you're using an iPhone or iPad, you can change your password using the Google My Account website.
- Using Google My Account Website: Visit the My Account website in your browser. Visit myaccount.google.com in your browser. This will work for both desktop and mobile browsers, on any device.
- Resetting a Forgotten Password: Visit the Google Account Support page in your browser. You can do this from any computer or mobile device. You can also reach this page by clicking the "Need help?" underneath the password field for any Google Sign In page.
