The label artwork in Blake’s signature style reflects the time that the sherry-seasoned cask was laid down to patiently mature at our Distillery during the 1920s.

Anecdotes of Ages Collection. A limited-release whisky and art collection with renowned British pop artist, Sir Peter Blake. Our third collaboration in a partnership spanning almost four decades, this collection celebrates the legacy and history of Sir Peter Blake and The Macallan.
From his tiny office, in the 1970s, he decreed that The Macallan remain faithful to sherry seasoned oak casks. Quality and continuity were his abiding focus. On this label Sir Peter Blake chronicles that time, championing workers who devoted their – in many cases – lifelong efforts to whisky making.

The Anecdotes of Ages Collection consists of 13 one-of-a-kind bottles of exceptional 1967 whisky, each labeled with its own original piece of collage art from Sir Peter.
An Estate, A Community, and A Distillery pays tribute to a host of important people from Macallan's past and present, with a label digitally designed by Sir Peter Blake himself, and a single malt created by Macallan lead whisky maker Sarah Burgess.
