He used to be the Ancient Church of the East's bishop of Australia, but he got excommunicated. The Ancient Church of the East is Nestorian, not Orthodox (and in my opinion that makes him not a Christian anyway).

I found out that he follows a church that follows the teaching of Nestorius, who was excommunicated by the ecumenical council of Ephesus in the year 431.
