Master Theodoric, in Latin Magister Theodoricus (before 1328? – before 3 March 1381, active c. 1360–1380) was a Czech painter. He is the best documented Gothic painter in Bohemia. He was the favourite court painter of Charles IV, Holy Roman Emperor.

This is a representation of Saint Luke as represented by the ox on his right shoulder, the symbol traditionally connected with Saint Luke.
Saint Matthew the Evangelist is an oil tempera on beech board painting by Bohemian painter Master Theodoric. It forms an almost symmetrical counterpart to the image of Saint Luke on the altar wall in the Chapel of the Holy Cross. It is an exceptionally high quality painting by Master Theodoric.
