Apr 15, 2021 · If you’ve been sent a text that has a verification code for a Plenty of Fish account, it means someone has, hopefully accidentally, used your number to try and sign up for an account. Without the code you were texted, they won’t be able to register with your number.

Dec 20, 2022 · On the verification homepage, hit Verify to get a quick overview of our verification process. Hit Continue, then give your consent on the next screen by tapping Verify Me. If you don’t have camera access enabled for the POF app, you’ll be prompted to update that now. Once your camera is enabled, you’ll see a video frame pop up.
Apr 29, 2024 · Verify your account with your phone number. If you don't have a phone number, you can't create an account. Enter the code that was texted to you. You have a limited time to verify with the code, so make sure you have access to that phone as soon as you enter the number to verify.

On your iPhone (not in the app) go to SETTINGS. Go to NOTIFICATIONS. In the list of apps, select Plenty of Fish. There, turn the "Alerts" on or off. On Android, follow these instructions: From any page in the app, tap the menu icon on the top right corner of the page (three vertical dots) or your device's menu button. Click SETTINGS.
