I think space bass is more or less supposed to refer to Liquid Stranger and related artists. Basically anyone that would play Wakaan Fest. I refer to this sub for what I generally refer to as bass music, for lack of a better term. Glitch hop, "left field", or otherwise experimental that might not be considered IDM.
