Feb 23, 2017 · The Children of Willesden Lane is the powerful true story of Lisa Jura, who fled Nazi-occupied Vienna on the Kindertransport as a child. Jura was one of 10,000 young refugees who were separated from their parents and brought to England for safety before World War II.
Documentary video programs show experienced teachers in middle and high school classrooms using various elements of the Teacher's Resource, in a variety of subjects. Teachers discuss how they approach various themes in the book, and students will talk about how the book affects them.
