On Friday 29th July 1988, the new Shree Swaminarayan Temple, Willesden, was officially opened by His Holiness Acharya 1008 Shree Tejendraprasadji Maharaj, when he installed the first marble murti outside India of our beloved Ghanshyam Maharaj.

Shree Swaminarayan Temple Willesden is a Swaminarayan Mandir in the London suburb of Willesden. It is the first Swaminarayan Mandir to be opened in the city. Today the Swaminarayan Sampraday has six Swaminarayan Mandirs across London alone.
On the auspicious day of Sharad Purnima on 11th October 1975, Archarya Maharajshree personally installed the murtis of Lord Shree Swaminarayan, Shree NarNarayan Dev, Shree RadhaKrishna, Shree Hanumanji, Shree Ganeshji and gave his eternal blessings to the Temple.
