One fix has already been mentioned, another is to open Xenia in desktop mode, open all your games once then close them after 5 seconds (to add them to your recent played category).
I managed to get Xenia to run with Emudeck, but had to follow the Github workaround for the GPU !status message error for being unable to load. I had to download an experimental version of the Xenia_canary.exe file and overwrite it to the exe file that is downloaded by Emudeck.
The problem is when I open xenia form gamemode. I just see the dark screen and nothing else, but it doesn't seem to have crashed or anything. It seems to be the default xenia black screen that appears under the upper menu, but in game mode there's no menu up there.
