    Billy Russo, better known as Jigsaw, is a vicious criminal mastermind from the Marvel universe. He mainly appears as the archenemy to the violent vigilante Frank Castle, and is the main antagonist of the Punisher franchise.

    Jigsaw is one of the very few criminals that the Punisher has faced several times without being able to kill. Jigsaw's name is derived from the horrendous scars and stitches that cover his face, due to a previous run-in with the Punisher, where the former threw Russo through a window pane, mutilating his face beyond normal repair.

    Prior to his conflict with the Punisher, Jigsaw was actually considered an attractive man, nicknamed "Billy the Beaut" and was used as an assassin for the Maggia (Marvel's version of the mafia).

    Powers

    •Exoskeleton Enhanced Physicality: While wearing his exoskeleton, Jigsaw gains increased strength and durability to match superhuman opponents. •Enhanced Strength: Jigsaw gain increased strength in his exoskeleton, enough to fight the likes of Spiderman and Nightcrawler. •Enhanced Durability: Jigsaw's exoskeleton is made out of Titanium, allowing him to take most damage from blunt force trauma, even from superhumans like Spider-Man.

    •Master Strategist/Tactician: Billy is a highly efficient criminal strategist and organizer who is proficient in manipulating both his enemies and allies alike to achieve his goals. His unorthodox pattern of operation makes him more difficult for the Punisher to anticipate than the majority of Punisher's enemies. •Leadership: Russo has led small armies of criminals on several occasions at his command. •Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Billy has shown advanced combat and is one of the best street-fighters in the world. He has fought the Punisher many times, surviving most of their encounters. he has also fought Spiderman, Nightcrawler, Daredevil, Black Widow, and Moon Knight. •Master Knife Wielder: Jigsaw is expertly skilled at using knives in combat, having a particular fondness for them. He has dueled Punisher in a knife fight several times. •Master Marksman: Jigsaw is an expert shot with any gun he can get his hands on. This range from handguns to rocket launchers. He was capable of sniping someone off a roller coaster while onto off an adjacent building. This even extends to improvised weapons such as hitting Spiderman with a spraying firetruck hose despite the latter's Spider Sense. •Explosives Expertise: Jigsaw is skilled at handling explosive devices, whether they be hand thrown or remotely activated. •Expert Torturer: Jigsaw is skilled at method of torture in order to extract information from others or just for his own sadistic enjoyment. •High Pain Tolerance: After his disfigurement, Russo gained an exceptional tolerance for pain. •Stealth: Jigsaw is skilled at stealth, able to get the drop on the Punisher on serval occassions. •Vast Resources: Russo has acquired many resources and wealth through his criminal activities. •Artistry: Russo apparently practices art as a hobby, as one of his paintings was shown being sold at an auction in Madripoor.

    •Firearms: Jigsaw has used various firearms including handguns, shot guns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and rocket launchers.

    •Knives: Jigsaw has used different types of knives including switchblades, balisongs, combat knives, and bowie knives.

    •Explosives: Billy has used many explosives including hand held grenades and wired explosives activated via detonator.

    •Titanium Exoskeleton: When fighting enemies more powerful than he is, Jigsaw dons a strength-enhancing titanium-steel exoskeleton that contains an arsenal of firearms, blades and explosives.

    Billy Russo, later known as Jigsaw, appears as the main antagonist in the Netflix series, Marvel's The Punisher, being one of the two main antagonists (along with Agent Orange) in the first season and one of the two secondary antagonists (along with Eliza Schultz) in the second season. He is portrayed by Ben Barnes, who also played Dorian Gray.

    Jigsaw appears as the main antagonist in the Punisher video game, and serves as the final boss. His real name is John Saint, who originally Castle thought he killed him with a claymore. However, he survived but it messed up his face. He then becomes known as Jigsaw. He fights Castle with a stolen Iron Man suit on the roof of Ryker's Island.
