ESTHER, an acronym that stands for Employee and Student Tools, Help, and Electronic Resources, is a self-service web application for students, faculty, and staff. Students use this application to access their academic records, register for classes, view financial aid, and more.
Rice undergraduate students use ESTHER to select their desired slate of classes for the upcoming semester. Registration is a two-part process: Submit your requested course selections via ESTHER during the Course Request Period; Perform "Adds" and "Drops" via ESTHER during the Add/Drop Period
Log on to course registration via ESTHER, using your Rice NetID and password using Duo two-factor authentication. Select the Student Services tab at the top, then select Register or Add/Drop Courses .

Dec 21, 2020 · How to Login to Esther. Step 1 - From a web browser, navigate to https://esther.rice.edu/. Step 2 - Enter your NetID followed by NetID password, then select Login. Step 3 - Select Send Me a Push to push a notification to an iPhone or Android device using the Duo Two-Factor Authentication app.
