Lowell House is a non-profit that provides treatment and recovery support for substance use disorders across Merrimack Valley, helping over 2,800 clients a year. Lowell House started in 1971 and has grown to include residential programs, outpatient clinics, mental health therapies, harm prevention, and peer recovery support with the Recovery Cafes.

Lowell House is one of the twelve residential Houses at Harvard University. We are a community of over 600 people: 400 undergraduate students, 20 resident tutors and scholars drawn from Harvard’s graduate and professional schools, and over 200 affiliated faculty and visiting scholars.
