This is an episode list for the American sitcom television series Spin City. The series, which premiered on ABC on September 17, 1996, stars Michael J. Fox in the first four seasons, and Charlie Sheen in the last two seasons.
Spin City: Created by Gary David Goldberg, Bill Lawrence. With Richard Kind, Alan Ruck, Michael Boatman, Barry Bostwick. Mike Flaherty, the Deputy Mayor of New York City, and his team of half-wits must constantly save the Mayor from embarrassment and the media.
During a blizzard, an inept security guard pursues a nudist in City Hall; Mike's high school crush visits en route to Paris; Paul & Randall make gaffs during a radio broadcast; and Carter and Stuart get locked in the boiler room.
The series presents a fictionalized version of the local government of New York City, and follows its mayor Randall Winston (Barry Bostwick) and his staff as they run the city, although the main person in charge is Deputy mayor Mike Flaherty (Fox).
The Pope's visit to New York City inspires Randall to mix politics with religion; Paul's pet turtle goes missing; Nikki and Stacy both date Carter's friend Daniel; and Mike and Stuart work to avert an MTA strike.
