- Seattle Seahawks. These will bring back memories of Steve Largent, Cortez Kennedy and when Seattle tweaked its first look, which popped in the 1980s. Fans of Seattle’s current highlighter looks would dismiss these uniforms as too generic, but the silver, green and blue combination jumped off the screen before high-definition television.
- Pittsburgh Steelers. These jerseys from the 1930s are the most polarizing throwback of them all. Are they awesome or awful? Pittsburgh stopped wearing them in 2016, but there is no doubt Ben Roethlisberger made a bold fashion statement with these uniforms.
- Washington Redskins. Washington's uniforms are a touchy subject, but the threads worn during the Steve Spurrier era were the best of the alternates. The 1960s throwbacks had a spear on the helmet that looked better than the current logo, and the color combination was sleek.
- Chicago Bears. The Bears' all-white classic look conjures up memories of Walter Payton, but you can take it even farther back with the white “C” on the side of the helmet that Gale Sayers and Dick Butkus made famous.
- Miami Dolphins -- 1972 home and road jersey. When they'll be worn: Week 8 vs. Patriots (white), Week 16 vs. Cowboys (aqua) There isn't a throwback uniform in the NFL that can top the Dolphins, who don the uniforms of the only perfect season in NFL history.
- Philadelphia Eagles -- 1987-1994 home jersey. When they'll be worn: Week 7 vs. Dolphins, Week 12 vs. Bills. Another perfect jersey, one the Eagles wanted to make sure they got right.
- San Francisco 49ers -- 1994 home and road jersey. When they'll be worn: Week 3 vs. New York Giants (home white); Week 12 vs. Seattle Seahawks (road red); Week 16 vs. Baltimore Ravens (home white)
- Tennessee Titans -- 1981-1998 home jersey. When they'll be worn: Week 8 vs. Atlanta Falcons; Week 15 vs. Houston Texans. Paying homage to the "Luv Ya Blue" era, the Titans will wear Oilers uniforms for the first time since 2009 (when the AFL celebrated its 50-year anniversary).
