Limited Admission is free all day on Wednesdays at the Bronx Zoo. ADVANCE TIMED TICKETS ARE REQUIRED. The Wednesday Ticket Store opens on Mondays at 5:00pm for that Wednesday’s reservations. DO NOT come to the zoo without a reserved ticket.
Animal exhibits close 30 min prior to park closing. Exhibit line may close earlier if there is a wait time of more than 30 min. Bug Carousel and Nature Trek are open until park closing. *Closed Holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Jun 5, 2024 · WHEN IS THE BRONX ZOO FREE? Every Wednesday, the zoo offers free Limited Admission tickets, which means you can enjoy almost everything in the zoo except for a few exhibits called Star Attractions. (See below).

Bronx Zoo tickets for visitors aged 13 and above cost US$34 on weekdays and are available for US$42 on weekends. Meanwhile, tickets for children between three to 12 years of age are available for US$24 on weekdays and US$32 on weekends. Infants under three years of age can get in for free.
