Aisling Clíodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), known professionally as Aisling Bea (/ ˈ æ ʃ l ɪ ŋ ˈ b iː / ASH-ling BEE), is an Irish comedian, actress and screenwriter. She created, wrote and starred in the comedy series This Way Up on Channel 4.
Aisling Bea is an actor, stand-up comedian, and writer from Ireland. In 2020 she won a BAFTA for Breakthrough Talent for her television series This Way Up, in which she also starred. In 2014 she won the British Comedy Award for Best Female TV Comedian.
