Thomas Griffin Dunne ( / ˈdʌn /; born June 8, 1955) is an American actor, director and producer. He is known for portraying Jack Goodman in An American Werewolf in London (1981) and Paul Hackett in After Hours (1985), for which he was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy .
Dunne stars as Paul Hackett, an office worker who experiences a series of misadventures while attempting to make his way home from New York City's SoHo district during the night. After Hours was critically acclaimed for its black humor, and is considered to be a cult film .
