Rockstar Vienna begun the development of Manhunt 2 in 2005 but had to stop because they were shut down in 2006, when they almost finished the game. Rockstar London continued the development for PS2 and PC, whilst Rockstar Toronto continued the Wii port and Rockstar Leeds, the PSP port, whilst Rockstar North oversaw all development.
