Steven David Daines (/ ˈ d eɪ n z / DAYNZ; born August 20, 1962) is an American politician and former corporate executive serving as the junior United States senator from Montana since 2015. A member of the Republican Party, he represented Montana's at-large congressional district in the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2015.
Steve has been married to his wife, Cindy, for 37 years. They are the parents of four children and proud grandparents of six. Steve and his family are actively involved in their church and community volunteer organizations and enjoy backpacking, hunting, skiing, and fishing.
