Wolf Creek is one of the best horror films of 2005 in my opinion. The film starts off with our three protagonists - Ben, Kristy, and Liz. Liz and Kristy are both British girls who are traveling in Australia, and before leaving, they decide to go on a backpacking trip across the country with their new Aussie mate, Ben.
This nerve-shredding, violent film is about three tourists visiting a crater in Wolf Creek. Later they find their car won't start and as night falls they're rescued by a bushman who tows their car to an abandoned mine.

I had a hard time watching "Wolf Creek." It is a film with one clear purpose: To establish the commercial credentials of its director by showing his skill at depicting the brutal tracking, torture and mutilation of screaming young women. When the killer severs the spine of one of his victims and calls her "a head on a stick," I wanted to walk out of the theater and keep on walking.
