Supernatural is pronouncing wendigo as if it were a Hispanic word. If it was Hispanic in origin, then they would be pronouncing it correctly. I loved the pilot episode, but the one that reeled me in was season 1, episode 2- “Wendigo.” I grew up in northern Minnesota and remember reading the Native American legend of the Wendigo, so this one hit home for me. From that point on I was hooked.
