The Suffolk Registry of Deeds is located on the first floor of the Edward W. Brooke Courthouse at 24 New Chardon St. on the corner of New Chardon and Merrimack Streets in Boston, MA. The Registry is within a short distance of TD Garden, Government Center, and Fanueil Hall.
About the Register. In November of 2016, Stephen J. Murphy was elected the 31st Register of Deeds for the Suffolk District. Since becoming Register of Deeds, Steve has taken a very active role in raising the visibility and improving the operations of the Registry of Deeds.
Oct 31, 2023 · The Secretary of the Commonwealth has provided access to information online in the 21 Registries of Deeds located within the state at https://www.masslandrecords.com. Each registry records the documents about real estate ownership within its district.
Go to the clerk's office in the Probate and Family Court in the applicable county to find out what the procedure is for getting copies of the documents you want and how much it will cost.
