Removing the bulk off the back of lid helps the box slide in and out of the tin much easier. Cut carefully and don't try to cut all the way through at once. Multiple passes make for a cleaner cut. Since the Richmond arsenal stenciled their packs I had a rubber stamp made from Rubberstamps.net it only cost $10 or so and I’ve just been using that. I found this easier than the stencil I attempted some time ago.
