The "Snyder Cut" would finally be announced on May 20, 2020 by Zack Snyder, entitled " Zack Snyder's Justice League" and launching on Max in March 2021. Immediately after the theatrical release of Justice League, fans created an online petition to release the "Snyder Cut" that gained more than 180,000 signatures.
The film opens just after Superman (Henry Cavill) and Doomsday kill each other. Superman's death scream echoes throughout the world, awakening the power of the Mother Boxes in the Stone home, Atlantis, and in Themyscira. The Amazons witness their Box crack, and they go to alert Queen Hippolyta (Connie Nielsen).
