This is a very frustrating film. I really liked the music and as a whole I found it to be quite an entertaining exploration of the Indian fashion industry, albeit a highly dramatised, heigtened one. But it is also blatantly anti-Black and relies a lot on sensationalisation and stereotypes, for example in the portrayal of queer fashion designers.
