In 1977, not long after they started, the small crew at what would be known as Schecter Guitar Research were looking for someone to run the wood shop – they found a young, talented luthier by the name of Tom Anderson, and the rest is history.

Schecter Demon-6 is one of the best-playing guitars I've played and I own 10+ guitars including some high-end guitars like Strandberg. It plays like butter when set up correctly. I play death metal and prog metal and it keeps up fine. I prefer 7- and 8-strings, but I keep this one as my only 6-string.
