CHODOROV, EDWARD (1904–1988), U.S. playwright and director. Born in New York City, Chodorov, the older brother of playwright/screenwriter Jerome *Chodorov, entered the film industry as a publicity director for Columbia Pictures. In addition to writing films, he also wrote 14 plays.
