Francis Owen Salisbury CVO (18 December 1874 – 31 August 1962) was an English artist who specialised in portraits, large canvases of historical and ceremonial events, stained glass and book illustration. In his heyday he made a fortune on both sides of the Atlantic and was known as "Britain's Painter Laureate".
Frank Boyer Salisbury (August 3, 1926 – December 26, 2015) was an American plant physiologist who served for a time as head of the Utah State University (USU) department of plant science. [1]

British painter and stained-glass designer. He was born in Harpenden, the son of a plumber and glazier, and was apprenticed to his brother in a stained-glass workshop in St Albans before winning a scholarship to the *Royal Academy, London, where he studied 1892–7.

Frank Salisbury painted the leading society figures of his day on both sides of the Atlantic, including four US presidents and many industrialists. His specialism was large canvases of ceremonial events.
Dr. Frank B. Salisbury, Ph.D. Frank Boyer Salisbury was born in Utah in 1926. He graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. ( 1951) and an M.A. ( 1952). He received his Ph.D. from the California Institute of Technology (1955).
