Federico Álvarez ( Spanish pronunciation: [ˈfeðe]; born February 9, 1978) is a Uruguayan filmmaker. He is known for directing Evil Dead (2013), Don't Breathe (2016), and Alien: Romulus (2024) as well as his short film Ataque de pánico! (2009).
