David Hoselton (born October 29, 1968) is a Canadian screenwriter and television producer, best known for his work on the television series House and the animated films Over the Hedge and Brother Bear.

The Roberts Wesleyan University and Northeastern Seminary community mourns the passing of David C. Hoselton on September 7, 2023. David served on the Board of Trustees for 25 years (1985-1997, 1998-2010) and was Chair of the Board for 12 of those years. He was elected as Trustee Emeritus in 2011.
Jan 12, 2007 · Ask David Hoselton about selling cars and he likely will say it is not on his list of favorite things to do. “I hated sales,” says the 66-year-old chairman of Hoselton Auto Mall. “At (University of Rochester) I took a course in marketing and it’s the only college course I ever took that I flunked.”
David Hoselton is known for House (2004), Brother Bear (2003) and The Good Doctor (2017).
Shortly thereafter, David Hoselton became the third generation in the family to join the business. He began as a service writer in the fall of 1964, right around the time Hoselton moved into our new facilities at 909 Fairport Road in East Rochester, New York.
