Peter H. Diamandis (/ ˌ d iː ə ˈ m æ n d ɪ s / DEE-ə-MAN-diss; born May 20, 1961) is an American marketer, engineer, physician, [1] and entrepreneur. He is best known as the founder and chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, and the cofounder and executive chairman of Singularity University.
Diamandis has written six books including four New York Times bestsellers, and his life’s mission is to empower entrepreneurs to create a hopeful, compelling and abundant future for humanity. Diamandis received his B.S. and M.S. from MIT and his MD from Harvard Medical School.
