Kenta Maeda (前田 健太, Maeda Kenta, born April 11, 1988) is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp . Maeda debuted with the Carp in 2008.
