Józef Bednarski (born January 21, 1941) is a Polish/American former professional wrestler and bodybuilder, best known by the ring name Ivan Putski. He was given the nicknames "the Polish Hammer" and "Polish Power". Putski is a former WWF World Tag Team Champion with Tito Santana.
Ivan Putski was a strong and popular wrestler who competed in WWE from the 1970s to the 1980s. He won the World Tag Team Championship with Tito Santana and the 1995 WWE Hall of Fame with his son Scott.

- Trained Harlem Heat. In 1990, Ivan Putski started his own short-lived promotion in Houston called Western Wrestling Alliance, which had its own school associated with it.
- Teamed With His Son. Ivan Putski retired for good in 1999, wrestling his final match against King Kong Bundy. However, given that he and Scott Putski were both active performers at the same time, it was only natural that father and son tag together.
