    To buy a subscription to Google Play Pass, you’ll need to:

    • Use a device with Android version 4.4 and above.

    • Have Google Play Store app version 16.6.25 and above.

    • Be located in a country where Play Pass is available. Learn where Play Pass is available.

    • Have a valid payment method.

    • Have the same billing country and Google Play country.

    1. Open the Google Play Store app .

    2. At the top right, tap the Profile picture.

    3. Tap Play Pass Get started.

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

    Users in Australia, Chile, France, Germany, Great Britain, Indonesia, Mexico, and the U.S. may be eligible for monthly offers from Play Pass. These offers are refreshed each month.

    To view this month’s offers, on an Android device:

    1. Open the Google Play Store app.

    2. Tap on Play Pass.

    3. Tap on the Offers tab.

    Tip: You won't find offers if you’re on a promotional trial.

    With a family library, you can share a Google Play Pass subscription with your Google Play family group.

    Important: If you aren't part of a family group, you must create one first.

    1. Open the Google Play Store app .

    2. At the top right, tap the Profile picture.

    3. Tap Settings Family Sign up for Family Library.

    4. To set up Family Library, follow the on-screen instructions.

    If you’re already part of a family group on Google and the family manager subscribes to Play Pass, you’ll need to activate your Play Pass before you can use it.

    Important: You may need to accept the family group invitation by email or SMS before you can activate Google Play Pass.

    1. Open the Google Play Store app .

    2. At the top right, tap the Profile picture.

    3. Tap Play Pass  Activate.

    Tip: If you’re on a family plan, only the head of household will get the Play Pass Offers.

    Only members of a family can activate or deactivate Play Pass. When you deactivate Play Pass, you only deactivate it for your account. Other family members can still use Play Pass.

    1. Open the Google Play Store app .

    2. At the top right, tap the Profile picture.

    3. Tap Payments & subscriptions  Subscriptions  Play Pass.

    4. Tap Cancel subscription.

    Tip: To unsubscribe from Play Pass, have the family manager cancel the subscription. When the family manager unsubscribes, family members no longer have Play Pass.

    • Check when your plan renews.

    • Change a payment method.

    • Add a backup payment method.

    • Cancel your Play Pass subscription.

    To manage your subscription:

    After you cancel your Play Pass subscription:

    • You can’t use some content that you got under the subscription and benefits.

    • The cancellation also applies to family members who activated the subscription.

    • You can still use the apps and games you have until your subscription period ends.

    • Any apps you install from Play Pass and its data stay on your device.
